Elizabeth Olson, DC is a practicing chiropractor, yoga teacher, and researcher. She is the owner of Healing Arts Red Wing in Red Wing, MN, a research faculty member at New York Chiropractic College, and a yoga anatomy teacher nationally. She graduated from New York Chiropractic College with honors and received the Distinguished Service in Basic Sciences Award, the Dean’s Recognition of Achievement Award for high board scores, and the Clarence Flick Memorial Award for research. She was the primary investigator in The effects of yoga or yoga plus mindfulness on perceived stress and mindful attention awareness in a Chiropractic College setting, a randomized control trial. From 2009-2011, she trained as a yoga athlete with Mary Jarvis, Head Coach in the International Yoga Asana Championship. She was personally trained in advanced yoga and the art of teaching by Yogi Amrit Desai and Yogeshwari Kamini Desai. She is certified in Amrit and Bikram yoga, and has taught all over the United States and in India. Dr. Olson embodies the science of yoga and empowers yoga teachers to do the same.
